Twelve Local Students Assist
with Bishop Malooly’s Installation - September 2008

(Click Image to Enlarge)Twelve students from Saints Peter and Paul High School were selected to represent the school at the Bishop’s Installation Mass on Monday, September 8th. The Most Reverend W. Francis Malooly succeeds Bishop Michael A. Saltarelli as the ninth bishop in the Diocese of Wilmington’s 140-year history.

Cathy Weaver, Superintendent of Schools for the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, visited Saints Peter and Paul High School Friday, September 5th to train representatives in their role for the special occasion. Students served as greeters, ushers, school banner bearers, and door monitors. Campus Minister Vicki Cappa accompanied the students.

"These fine young people have represented their school, diocese and faith to the utmost. They truly understand and impart the ministry of hospitality to all those they encounter. I am very proud of them,” said Principal James E. Nemeth.
