Welcome to the Saints Peter and Paul Experience!
We are very pleased that you are considering Saints Peter and Paul High School. As the only Catholic high school on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Saints Peter and Paul provides a tradition of excellence in academics and athletics, rooted in faith and demanding of academic and personal achievement. The quality of our faculty and small class size makes for a learning environment that challenges each of our students, encourages participation in student life, and promotes a faith-centered sense of service and leadership.
Admissions Policy
Incoming 9th Graders
To be eligible for admission, prospective students must have satisfactorily completed 8th Grade. Upon receipt of a completed Admissions Application [pdf] and all necessary records of testing and grades, a school administrator interviews the student and parent/guardian. The priority of acceptance to Saints Peter and Paul High School is as follows:
- Siblings of Saints Peter and Paul students/alumni or children of alumni;
- Catholic parishioners of Saints Peter and Paul Parish;
- Other Catholics;
- All others.
Transfer Students
A student wishing to transfer to Saints Peter and Paul High School from another secondary school will be subject to the above criteria. He/she must also meet the following for consideration:
- Passing all academic subjects at present school;
- Able to satisfy all necessary graduation requirements of Saints Peter and Paul High School;
- Have no serious disciplinary issues at their present school.
In the case of admission applications beyond the capacity of the class, a waiting list will be created.
